- I turned my camera horizontally and got a shot acting like I pulled the screen open
- Then ran back and jumped 3 times
- I got 2 more horizontal shots of different areas
- And imported those into capcut
- I hit aspect ratio > 9x16
- Then I added my text and made sure it stretched the whole timeline
- I duplicated my first clip and dropped it right underneath the original
- Then turned the opacity down to 0 of the original clip
- I moved the duplicate up to cover the text
- Tapped layers, and hit front
- Then hit mask > mirror > positioned it where my hands would go
- I hit the keyframe button right before I swiped my hands open
- Moved a few frames forward and expanded the mask
- I cut the text so it started after the mask expanded
- Then I scrolled to right before I landed my first jump, hit the kayframe button
- Scolled 4-5 frames forward and moved the video slightly down to reveal the text
- Did the same for jump 2 and 3
- And when I landed my third jump had the two other clips start in their respective positions

So the other day, I saw this video, and I was like, could I make that with my phone? So I got a horizontal shot of me acting like I pulled the screen open, and then I ran back and jumped three times. Then I got two more horizontal shots, and I imported those into CapCut. I hit aspect ratio at nine by 16. Then I added my text. I duplicated the first clip and dropped it right underneath the original. Then I turned the opacity down to zero of the original clip. I moved the duplicate video to cover the text, tapped layers and hit front. Then I hit mask, mirror, and positioned it where my hands would go. I hit the keyframe button right before I swiped my hands open, moved a few frames forward and expanded the mask. I cut the text so it started after the mask expanded. Then I scrolled to right before I landed my first jump, hit the keyframe button, scrolled four or five frames forward, and dragged the video slightly down to reveal the text. I did the same thing for jump two and three, and when I landed my third jump, I had the other two clips start in their respective positions. And now we have this.
