Remixing this oldie with some new inspo since this is one of the design details that excites me most. I’m constantly drawn to the spaces where differing materials meet. The tension between smooth and rough, glossy and matte, warm and cool, soft and hard. Those contrasting thresholds create tension and balance, reminding us that the most interesting spaces live between extremes.
